Malinya Muktha Painavu Inaugurated
The KSSP activists at Painavu, Idukki has dicided to observe the KSSP's ace campaign Venam Mattoru Keralam, lauched on Nov. 1 throughout the state, in a slightly different way, though not novel completely. They chalked out an action plan to achieve a clean Painavu, the three square kilometer area surrounded by the reserve forest in which the District Headquarters functions. The specialty of the campaign lies in the fact all the major socio political and cultural organizations have come forward to join hands with the KSSP and Painavu Residents Association, the chief organisors. They have formed an action committee and formulated an year long action plan with components like controlling plastic use, cleaning the surroundings, achieving health and hygiene atc. through various concerted efforts.
The campaign was formally launched by the Additional District Magistrate of Idukki Sri K Muraleedharan in presence of Sri A P Usman, the Block Panchayath President and Sri Joy Varghese the Grama Panchayath President and Sri P T Rajan, the health standing commiteee chairman of Idukki Panchayath. In the meeting, Sri P S Rajasekharan of KSSP detailed about the KSSP Campaign Venam Mattoru Keralam and The District Committee Member Smt. Anitha detailed about the Clean Painavu Campaign. The KSSP district committee secretary Sri Francis were also present. Sri Arjunan , President of Painavu Residents Association and Sri Rajkumar, treasurer KSSP Idukki and Anitha lead the campaign.
