The KSSP State Balavedi Camp Concluded

The three day  KSSP State Balavedi Camp came to a close  at Painavu, Idukki with much enthusiasm. The camp was organsied in connection with the International Year of Forest 2011  with the support of Kerala Forest Department. Cconducted with a view to  formulate and train the activities  to be done in the Balavedis of KSSP to commemorate the Forest Year, the camp was attended by around 50 participants from all over the State.  Apart From the Forest Officials, Sri R Radhakrishnan, K K Krishnakumar etc. attended the camp as resource persons. "It was an earnest effort to bring up our children across the state dedicate to the cause of forest and environment.

Gender Subcongress on February 15

The Gender Sub congress prior to KSSP's annual meet 2011 will be held at the Keralavarma College, Thrissur on the 15th of this month to discuss the Gender issues of Kerala Society and chalk out KSSP's action plan in this regard. ക്യാംപസ് ശാസ്ത്രസമിതി തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ലാ പരിശീലനം ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 30,31 തിയ്യതികളില്‍ തൃശൂര്‍ കേരളവര്‍മ്മ കോളേജില്‍വെച്ച് നടക്കും. പ്രശസ്ത കഥാകൃത്ത് ശ്രീ വൈശാഖന്‍ ക്യാംപ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. പതിനഞ്ചോളം കോളേജുകളിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കും. പ്രൊഫ. സി.സി.ബാബു, പ്രൊഫ.എന്‍.എന്‍.ഗോകുല്‍ദാസ്, ഡോ. കെ.ജി.രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍, കെ.പ്രദീപ്കുമാര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ വിവിധ സെഷനുകളുടെ മേല്‍നോട്ടം വഹിക്കും.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലാ തല ഐ ടി ശില്പശാല ഇന്ന് കരകുളം ഗ്രാമീണ പഠനകേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ നടന്നു. ഐ ടി @ സ്കൂൾ എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടർ ശ്രീ. അൻ‌വർ സാദത്ത് ശില്പശാല ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ലോകമെങ്ങാടും നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വിവര സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ മുന്നേറ്റവും കേരളത്തിലും മലയാള ഭാഷയിൽ പ്രത്യേകിച്ചുമുള്ള ഐ ടി രംഗത്തെ സജീവ ഇടപെടലുകളെയും അദ്ദേഹം വിശദീകരിച്ചു. വിവര സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ ജനകീയ പക്ഷത്തുനിന്നുകോണ്ട് ശാസ്ത്ര സാഹിത്യ പരിഷത്തിനു ആശയ പ്രചരണത്തിനുള്ള പുതിയ മാധ്യമമായി ബ്ലോഗുകളും സോഷ്യൽ നെറ്റ്‌വർക്കിംഗ് സൈറ്റുകളും ഉപയോഗിക്കണമെന്നു അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. യോഗത്തിൽ ജില്ല സെക്രട്ടറി ജി.സുരേഷ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ഐ ടി സബ് കമ്മറ്റി കൺ‌വീനർ രാജിത്ത് സ്വാഗതവും ജോ.കൺ‌വീനർ അരുൺ കൃതജ്ഞതയും ആശംസിച്ചു.
