Koodankulam in South Tamil Nadu there nuclear reactors are to be commissioned soon. The local people in the neighbouring villages has been asked to vacate the place and stay away at their relatives place for atleast 15 days towrards the end of this month so that trial nuclear tests could be conducted in Koodamkulam. There is a strong People's Movement named Coastal People's Federation who have refused to move out of the villages and is asking a halt to the tests.

കേരളത്തിലെ ഭൂവിനിയോഗത്തിന് സര്ക്കാരിന്റെയും സമൂഹത്തിന്റെയും നിയന്ത്രണം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന രൂപത്തില് നിയമനിര്മാണം നടത്തുകയും നടപ്പാക്കുകയും വേണമെന്ന് കേരള ശാസ്ത്രസാഹിത്യ പരിഷത്ത് പ്രതിനിധിസംഘം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയോട് അഭ്യര്ത്ഥിച്ചു. കിനാലൂര് റോഡ് നിര്മ്മാണം, അതിരപ്പള്ളി ജലവൈദ്യുത പദ്ധതി, ബി.ഒ.ടി അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലുള്ള ദേശീയപാത എന്നീ വിഷയങ്ങളിലെ പരിഷത് നിര്ദ്ദേശങ്ങളും ഭൂമി പൊതുസ്വത്തായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയും ഈ നിവേദനത്തില് അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

കുറ്റക്കാര്ക്ക് കുറഞ്ഞ ശിക്ഷ നല്കിക്കൊണ്ട്, നീണ്ട ഇരുപത്തിയഞ്ചു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കു ശേഷം വന്ന ഭോപ്പാല് കേസിലെ വിധി നീതിന്യായ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ കറുത്ത അദ്ധ്യായമാണ്. മറ്റെന്തിനും മീതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ലാഭം മാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്ന ബഹുരാഷ്ട്രക്കുത്തകകള് അവികസിതരാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ജനങ്ങളൊടു കാണിക്കുന്ന നീതി നിഷേധത്തിന്റെയും ക്രൂരതയുടെയും ഉത്തമോദാഹരണമാണ് ഭോപ്പാലിലെ കൂട്ടക്കൊല.

തൃശ്ശൂര്:കേരളത്തിലെ ഭൂവിനിയോഗം ശാസ്ത്രീയമായും സന്തുലിതമായും പുനഃസംവിധാനം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത് 'ഭൂമി പൊതുസ്വത്ത്' എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യം ഉയര്ത്തി കേരള ശാസ്ത്രസാഹിത്യപരിഷത്ത് നടത്തുന്ന സംസ്ഥാനതല ജാഥകള് ഏപ്രില് 29 വൈകീട്ട് 5.30 ന് തൃശ്ശൂര് തെക്കേഗോപുരനടയില് സമാപിക്കും. ഭൗമദിനമായ ഏപ്രില് 22 ന് പയ്യന്നൂരില്നിന്നും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുനിന്നുമാണ് ജാഥകള് തുടങ്ങുക. സമാപന സമ്മേളനത്തില് ആസൂത്രണബോര്ഡ് വൈസ് ചെയര്മാന് പ്രഭാത് പട്നായിക് മുഖ്യാതിഥിയാകും.

Kerala Sathra sahithya parishad Oachira Mekhala committe is organising an open seminar about the development of National hiway from Cherthal to Kazhakuttam titled "Desiyapatha BOT pathayo?Swakarya pathayo.?" at 4 pm on saturday 20.03.2010 at Vavvakvu Jn., in National hiway.
